I worked with Tom to deliver Web Development classes with Code First: Girls. Tom is a confident and knowledgeable person, who is able to demonstrate his passion for technology through helping other people. In this instance, he successfully aided many non-STEM students with building their first website, through 1-to-1 support alongside leading various teaching sessions. He balanced these sessions with his degree and other commitments, and we’re truly grateful for this. He did all of this whilst being a friendly & approachable team member to us all. We were extremely lucky to work with such a talented individual.

Tom dived head-first into his involvement with Hack Quarantine as Community Lead, and the amount of effort and dedication he put into the role was exceptional. Working in a fast-paced environment, no challenge was too big or small for him, and he consistently took on extra responsibilities to help the team. I cannot recommend working with Tom enough - he's an incredibly engaging and enjoyable person to work with, and genuinely cares about making an impact.

I would go all over the UK teaching 12-17 year olds the basics of electronics and python programming to implement into a project that they would then showcase at the end of a 6-hour long hackathon. Originally was part of the NCS contractors for their summer project but also worked on smaller projects.
