Bio
Evan Brom MBA, PMP, ITIL, CSM
Jared is a self-motivated highly skilled programmer. He has solved many challenges that stumped others with much higher job titles. Through his dedication and hard work, many projects were successful that would not have been without his involvement.
Tim J. Harrington, Ed.D.
Having had the unique opportunity of teaching Jared Isaak in an introductory course in Game and Simulation Programming and then again in the capacity of his senior project mentor, has provided an opportunity to witness how much a person can grow and evolve in three years as a student and a person. Jared has a good wit, is personable, and hard working. He understands how things work, and is dedicated to solving problems he is faced with. Jared worked as a project developer and programmer for his team’s senior project. He showed very good teamwork, consideration for work to be completed, adherence to deadlines, due dates, and milestones, and worked constructively to help the team meet its goal of having the best technical and most marketable senior project. Jared would be an excellent addition to any programming staff as a junior programmer and eventually as a programming team-leader.

My main role was to maintain and modernize a large-scale web forms application as well as handle all DevOps tasks via Jenkins. - Collaborated with Product Owners and Business Analysts to write stories and review mockups. - Worked with QA, Product Support, and Site Reliability Engineers to troubleshoot issues across all environments. - Used Vuejs, Vuex and Bootstrap to rewrite a large data aggregation Web Forms application. - Drastically extended the REST Web Api to handle the rewrite into a spa. As well as integrated 3rd party APIs into the application. - Implemented SAML authentication with many of our clients and moving all certificate management into the database. - Wrote build/deploy/scans(CheckMarx, CAST)/etc. Jenkins jobs for multiple applications. This included working with teams from other divisions to ensure standards were being adhered too. - Participated in code reviews and mentored many of the offshore resources as well as held learning sessions regarding DevOps and Jenkins.
