First full-time finance hire for the company; built out all financial reporting frameworks, controls, and processes from the ground-up. Led all aspects of controllership function, including: monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for stakeholders; AP and AR functions; payroll; tax compliance; and cash flow management. Participated in the sales cycle by working with executive team to develop pricing strategies, providing ROI analysis to prospective customers, and assisting customers with reconciliation queries. Partnered with sales and marketing teams to develop KPIs and ongoing reporting for top of funnel and bottom of funnel activities to help guide decision making. Outcome has led to continuous quarter-over-quarter growth in new customers. Completed other activities as required, including: payroll and associated filings, tax filings, SRED claim, cap table management, and contract reviews.
