As Finance Director I play an active role in the financial/strategic planning of the company. I am a business partner for the CEO and COO. With the team I am operationally responsible for all the financial and control related issues and processes, IT infrastructure, HRM and the quality management system (Quality Manager / Security Officer). My main responsibilities include: • Setting up and managing the financial planning process, determining the financial needs and cash management. Setting up and implementing the Business Control System. • Ensuring that the financial reporting and planning for the business is reliable, timely and effective while also taking proper consideration of short to medium term risk and business needs. • Initiating and preparing the (yearly) budgets and forecasts. • Preparing the monthly and annual (internal and external) financial reports and analysis. • The necessary accounting controls with regard to the financial data in the Business Control and Financial systems. • Managing contacts with the bank and external accountants. • Ensure that processes needed for the Quality Management System (QMS) are established, implemented and maintained. • Report on the performance of the QMS and any need for improvement. • Liaise with the external assessment body on all matters related to the external accreditation process. • Responsible for planning, developing and implementing security plans, security programs such as Emergency Response and Crisis Management, Physical Security, Information Protection, Incident Management and/or Investigation. • Managing the people who install and service the IT infrastructure.
