  Climate Change and Disaster Risk portfolioResponsible for overall management of the Pakistan chapter of a DFID funded regional project, Action of Climate Today (ACT). Responsible for providing assistance and support in design and delivery of various projects within the three work streams of ACT. Responsible for carrying out regular monitoring and reporting of climate change (CC) adaptation projects. Responsible for ensuring programme goals are met, project activities create impact and programme stays aligned with the broader OPM CC portfolio. Responsible for expanding outreach of the programme in Pakistan and establishing OPM CC portfolio’s presence in PakistanThe ACT programme in Pakistan comprises of three work streams. I am involved in brainstorming, planning and efficient delivery of all climate change adaptation projects and plans implemented as part of ACT in Pakistan. Responsible for communication and coordination with key stakeholders in the Ministry of Climate Change (MoCC), Planning and Development Department Punjab, and line departments in Punjab for climate change (CC) adaptation plans. Responsible for organizing workshops and trainings on climate change adaptation for relevant government departments. Provide assistance in drafting terms of reference for CC adaptation projects and consultants who work on these. Carry out regular monitoring and reporting of climate change projects against logframe outcomes and outputs. Engage in capacity building of government departments in climate risk screening of new and ongoing projects. Responsible for coordination with Climate Finance Unit (CFU) in the MoCC and promoting the uptake of climate adaptation plans. Represent the programme at national and international level platforms.
