Li-Ming was the first editor Taylor & Francis employed in Asia Pacific. She developed opportunities for both the books and journals divisions commissioning titles in several subject areas - both STM and HSS. Having successfully kick-started publishing programmes, she was asked to then focus on the CRC Press list and travelled the region hunting for projects and developing terrific relationships with academics in many countries. Li-Ming's diligence and perseverance were much appreciated her creative use of social media to engage authors was groundbreaking. She is one of the clearest thinkers I've met and always applied herself very intelligently.

Li-Ming worked in the Higher Education product strategy and management team, leading and managing the entire HE portfolio across Asia. This role requires product and lifecycle management; collaborating with internal and external stakeholders; financial forecasting; market and customer intelligence; and strategic planning. All of which she excelled at. The Higher Education and publishing landscape is going through transition and disruption, and Li-Ming ably drove this transition for MHE Asia in her portfolio. Leading the transition from traditional print books to learning science-based digital products. Change is never easy, but Li-Ming both kept pace with the change, but also helped to influence and drive it in others.
