  I am a passionate learner of Mandarin Chinese, the most widely spoken language in the world. I have always been fascinated by the rich and diverse culture of Taiwan, a country that is known for its innovation, democracy, and hospitality. That is why I am honored and excited to be selected as one of the recipients of the Huayu Enrichment Scholarship 2023, a program sponsored by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan to encourage international students to study Mandarin in Taiwan. By studying Mandarin in Taiwan, I hope to improve my language skills and broaden my horizons. I also hope to make new friends and connections with people from different backgrounds and countries. I believe that learning Mandarin will open up many opportunities for me in the future, both personally and professionally.
