Margaret creates a strong, high-performance culture among the teams she manages, leading them to consistently deliver exceptional results on deadline-driven projects. She is adept at identifying, securing, and employing the resources necessary to meet complex project objectives. She operates within a large, diversified organizations or small, focused teams with equal ease, employing an inclusive leadership style and strong managerial talent to achieve organizational goals. Her strong sense of an organization’s constituencies enables her to balance audience needs and sensitivities with institutional objectives, ensuring effective message development and delivery. Her communications with teams and clients are direct and compelling, providing clarity around complex issues. The messages she crafts effectively connect with audiences, setting expectations, conveying benefits, and influencing desired behaviors and actions. I often relied on Margaret’s guidance and perspective during the time I worked with her, and credit much of my success to lessons I learned from her. I have never met anyone who did not look forward to working with Margaret, and I would welcome the opportunity to work with her again.

Quite simply, Margaret is someone who gets it done, whether or not she’s worked in that area before. She continually redefined the role of Marketing Operations Manager, reinventing herself several times throughout the 15 years we worked together. Despite the extra effort added to an already tough job, she steadily increased her scope of responsibility while still doing a great job on existing duties. Much of her growth was simply because she recognized the need and took the initiative to address company-wide issues. She reorganized a disjointed group of internal creative service providers to create a productive, highly motivated profit center team. She assumed logistical leadership of our major company-wide meetings and events, a key part of the company’s change initiatives. When the company needed to rebuild our Travel and Meetings function, Margaret took this on as well. She is very effective at building strong relationships. Overall, she is an energetic leader who is unusually good at mentoring and developing people.
