The founder Dr. Sezgin Inceel has years of experience witnessing the benefits of music’s impact on the process of learning a language that goes back to when he was learning English in school. Since then it became his passion to understand this phenomenon. He initially earned a Master’s Degree studying primary students’ academic achievement and the correlation between native languages and music training. While studying for his Ph.D., his focus was on Turkish immigrant families in Germany in order to understand the relationship between bilingualism and music. In addition to Dr. Inceel’s academic experience, he has years of hands-on experience with the musical education of children from the early years to school age. He has personally worked in the child care field from the nursery, kindergarten and with school-aged children in a multilingual environment, all with wonderful results. Music is truly the universal language that all children speak! With my degrees in music education and 10 years of experince in teaching, I love sharing my passion and knowledge about music with the others. So far I taught music from 1-year-old children to the adults, and I find it fascinating to work with different age groups. By getting the Comenius Scholarship of European Comission I visited Obermenzinger Gymnasium in Munich during the scholastic year 2010/11.
