The project was a joint effort between the Network and AmeriCorps and I completed my term of service in June 2012. When my term of service was complete I was recruited to work on the election with the same organization as a fiscal administrator. I handled accounts payable, was responsible for reimbursing hundreds of employees in 35 offices across the country (this totaled in the millions of dollars), as well as administrative tasks such as tracking computers and handling the rental car contract. When the election was over I was offered financial administrative positions in San Francisco, Portland, and D.C. and took the position in Washington. Here I dealt with mostly accounts payable, payroll, and benefits (health care, DCAP, student loan assistance, 401k) but also did some work with accounts receivable and grant tracking. Show less
