      Boskalis is the world leader for maritime and dredging solutions. The company provides creative and innovative all-round solutions to infrastructural challenges. Jointly with the Boskalis team, and two other students we were responsible for the development of a payment mechanism structure for a dredging project in the Cancun area. The first part of the project consisted in desk research from the Netherlands, with an analysis of all the parties involved and the creation of different payment scenarios. For the second half, we travelled to Mexico City (HQ of Boskalis' Mexican subsidiary) and Cancun to conduct interviews and verify the theories written in the previous phase. The different views and perspectives of the stakeholders were taken into account for the final recommendations. An extensive research report was then presented to the firm. Show less
