I had the privilege of working under Zoraida's leadership for several years at Community Links. Zoraida displayed exceptional leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of program management in the public health field. Together, we collaborated on various impactful campaigns, such as stop smoking, cancer awareness, sexual and reproductive health, and community outreach sessions in East London. Zoraida possessed a genuine ability to motivate and empower team members, fostering a healthy work culture and environment that allowed colleagues to leverage their personal strengths towards our shared goal of enhancing public health in East London. She set high standards while offering support and flexibility in achieving our objectives. As a manager and program leader, Zoraida maintained an open-door policy and attentively listened to her team. She provided invaluable guidance and advice that continues to benefit me to this day. During our collaboration, I witnessed Zoraida's excellent project management skills. Under her guidance, I learned strategies for program management, prioritization, and ensuring timely project completion. I recommend Zoraida as a program manager and also as a mentor. I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked alongside her early in my career.

I agree with all the lovely comments about Zoraida in these recommendations and recognise Zoraida's qualities in what others have written about her. She is highly efficient, effective, warm and inspiring. I first met her as a volunteer at Community Links and, like others have noted, it was easy to see that she was destined for the roles she has taken on with such success. It was always a pleasure working with her, and I have no hesitation in recommending her to others.
