Selected as a 2013 PMF and placed in the Department of Defense (DoD). DoD PMFs complete multiple short-term rotational assignments across DoD and the Interagency. Rotations and key accomplishments include: ● Worked with the Navy, Air Force, Joint Staff, and the Office of Secretary of Defense to develop approaches, metrics, and milestones of 175 recommendations to address infrastructure deficiencies, budget shortfalls, and service members’ morale across the Nuclear Enterprise. ● Prepared congressional engagement materials concerning the Nuclear Enterprise Review for DoD senior leaders. Materials addressed the specific recommendations and actions DoD is taking to address deficiencies to include budgetary resources allocation. ● Prepared materials for CAPE senior leaders to be briefed at meetings with general and flag officers, the Deputy Secretary of Defense, and the Secretary of Defense. These briefing materials include specific actions taken to correct problems in the Nuclear Enterprise and the reallocation of budgetary resources. ● Was a member of the Army’s Aviation Restructure Initiative (ARI) Tiger Team tasked by the Deputy Secretary of Defense to review the budgetary and political implications of ARI. The ARI Tiger Team reviewed National Guard and Active Army alternatives, compared costs, and the Army’s ability to generate forces to respond to security assistance operations overseas. Show less
