Co-Founded and actively manages a leading Residential Mortgage Re-Underwriting, Expert Witness & Consulting firm that assists National banks, leading law firms and nationwide Mortgage Banking firms in (1) managing risks associated with the origination and servicing of residential mortgage loans and (2) re-underwriting, litigation consulting and expert witness services related to residential loan repurchase demands, RMBS securitization litigation, due diligence and repurchase litigation. We developed a proprietary workflow system (FAS) that allows us to securely investigate, document and provide supporting documentation to help our clients reduce their RMBS and mortgage related risk exposure and mitigate potential losses. Additionally we created a cutting edge e-Discovery document management system and a Cost Management and Accountability program that allowed our customers to meaningfully cut costs and efficiently manage those costs on an ongoing basis. I managed a number of departments and divisions during my 10 year tenure at IMB including various departments and divisions of the Mortgage Banking business. During my tenure I helped build and supervise the Retail, Wholesale, Correspondent and Warehouse Lending businesses. This included the recruiting and retention of a nationwide salesforce and sales management organization, development of a highly automated marketing team and infrastructure that was leveraged over all four divisions, supervised the seller approval and monitoring group and co-supervising a nationwide, decentralized loan operational infrastructure. The groups I supervised assisted the Capital Markets, Credit Policy, Risk Management, Due Diligence and the Quality Control groups with their review and oversight of loan programs, underwriting guidelines, Seller Guides, loan pricing and helped review and respond to due diligence and quality control findings. IMB originated and sold loans via RMBS & ABS securitizations and whole loan sales including the following loan products: Agency, FHA, Alt A, Sub Prime, Private Label, 2nds/Helocs, Construction and Jumbo residential loan production. I also helped design and implement an industry leading web based pricing, ratelock, automated loan stipulations, an imaging platform and the related policies and procedures, practices and standards that enhanced customer satisfaction, improved operational efficiencies, strengthened risk management and lowered costs.
