  This position assists the Director by coordinating and administering all Human Resources functions within the department. Duties include: coordinate and administer all personnel related activities and maintain up-to-date files for Department; compile required data and process new hires, terminations, insurance changes, workers compensation, promotion/demotions, deferred compensation, etc.; complete and submit payroll; submit jobs to be advertised with Human Resource; screens applications with other staff, schedule applicants for testing as well as background investigation, e.g., polygraph and psychological evaluation; participate in behavioral interviews, checks references, prepare offer letters and complete necessary paperwork; perform other job duties and responsibilities as required.
