At ADMI, I counseled families upon receiving the results of chromosomal microarray and/or whole exome sequencing. Every variant was interpreted and translated into digestible information for the family, in the hopes that they would be empowered to become our partners in the care of their child. I also coordinated the 22q Deletion and Duplication Developmental Clinic, curated genetic testing reports for ClinGen's GenomeConnect, and returned copy number variants related to developmental brain dysfunction to adult research participants in the MyCode Community Health Initiative project.Additionally, I served as co-chair of the GC Recruitment Committee, member of the Genetic Counseling Professional Council, and chair of the ADMI Social Committee. I also served as primary supervisor for genetic counseling students rotating through our clinic. I worked daily with the ACMG guidelines for classifying sequence variants, ExAC, gnomAD, UCSC Browser, DECIPHER, ClinVar, PubMed, ClinGen, and EPIC.
