I was serving as the Interim Vice President for Student Affairs and Naveena was a student leader. We served on the ASI Board that same year and I became very familiar with her capabilities as a student leader and advocate for students. She was dedicated and insightful. She came to my office and we met for over an hour talking about her plans and her life. She is mature and very focused on her objectives. I found her to be a delight to work with and highly recommend her, if you are looking for someone who is dedicated, smart and collaborative.

I got to the opportunity to meet and work with Naveena. She was an incredible student leader serving in multiple capacities and as well on the Board of Directors for the Associated Students Inc. at CSUSB. She served as the Director for International Studies and was instrumental in establishing scholarship funds for international students. At the end of our terms, Naveena was recognized as Board member of the year especially for her advocacy and commitment to student success.
