As the installation’s Suicide Prevention Program Manager (SPPM), I planned, implemented, and evaluated the community’s suicide prevention program. To reduce the rate of suicide in the military population by writing the strategic prevention plan, chairing the Suicide Prevention Task Force, organizing post-wide campaigns and awareness initiatives. And developing, overseeing, and presenting targeted prevention, intervention and postvention actions. To build community relationships and awareness to the issue of suicide, and how it affects every person.
