When working in a challenging environment, like a war zone, sometimes you're only as good at the people you're working with and for. I was my great good fortune to have Ilya as my Section Chief. He is always on top of any situation which is no small feat since the situation in our work environment sometimes changes minute by minute. He has the ability to focus on a problem and quickly formulate a solution that it doesn't take long to realize there is no better answer than what he's come up with. The amazing thing is that he does this for an incredibly wide range of problems. I don't think the phrase "I can't do this" is part of his speech. As my team leader he makes it so easy to go the extra mile in my work because he does his work so very well. Any organization that's fortunate enough to have an opportunity to add Ilya to their team is very fortunate indeed.
