At Chaberton, we develop sustainable infrastructure and renewable projects, from project conception to full operations, with a primary focus on distributed energy generation and community solar projects. With a world class professional team, an expansive network of partners, and a financial partnership with the Greenbacker Development Opportunities Fund, Chaberton Energy is positioned to succeed in undertaking complex, sustainable, renewable energy projects that benefit the environment, reduce pollution, and combat climate change. As the Civil Engineer for renewable energy development, I oversee civil aspects of the engineering operations, working with our partners and consultants to bring developments to fruition.

Having started Land Development operations in Florida for Osborn Engineering in 2019, my Director and I have grown the business from the ground up. In under 4 years of operation, we have grown to a group of eight engineers and designers, achieving just under $2 million in yearly sales. We served Developers, Architects, Municipalities and private owners in services ranging from commercial, utility, residential, and municipal projects. Our Site Design projects covered all stages of development from conception and due diligence, through property entitlements, engineering design, permitting, and construction. As Civil Manager for the group, I oversaw daily operations, assigning workloads, mentoring staff, running staffing and training meetings, etc. Business Development and writing proposals for new work were a top priority. I performed QA/QC on all projects within the group and personally managed more than a third of the projects within the group at all times.

At FWA I was able to learn all aspects of Site Design and Land Development. Working under a team of professionals, I strongly focused on Stormwater Management, Erosion and Sediment Control, Site Grading and Earthwork, Zoning, and Due Diligence. I was also able to gain proficiency in Utility Design and Road Design. Additionally, through FWA, I was able to serve as the Stormwater Management Reviewer for the City of Bowie from 2006 to 2012. This opportunity allowed me to review stormwater design from engineers throughout the state. This exposure helped me hone my stormwater design through a time of continual change with the State regulations.
