 Skilled in setting up scientific instruments, calibrate, and troubleshoot problems  Established SOP’s for the laboratory to extract, purify and tailor Keratin, collagen, and marine polysaccharides, to develop 3D scaffolds and hydrogels Took initiative to learn cell culture techniques and established the basic cell culture facility in the laboratory  Cultured teamwork, met deadlines and successfully wrote the grant proposal and contributed NZ$ 20K+ in lab funding Gained market and product knowledge and integrated commercial acumen to procure new instruments and profited the lab funding by 20% Proactively learned and acquired knowledge on collagen scaffolds that sequentially led to the start of my Ph.D. work
