It was a great pleasure having Tara serve on our executive team in the role of EVP of Marketing. Tara assumed a role that had not existed at the company while being tasked to create strategic and tactical marketing initiatives that spanned a broad area of focus. In addition, marketing as a driver of business results had not existed previously therefore staffing and budgets were limited. In spite of these challenges, Tara embraced the role in the only way, I imagine, she knows how; with extreme enthusiasm, passion, vigor, and diligence. Tara successfully worked with the broader team to forge competing and varying ideas into a comprehensive roadmap encompassing both internal and external marketing. While successfully building a messaging transformation to support aggressive growth targets, Tara did not lose sight of the near term needs of the organization. In leading her team, Tara was able to target key focus areas with successful sales campaigns providing the metrics and ROI that the company had not previously enjoyed. Likewise, Tara reengineered major processes in support of sales greatly enhancing the company's ability to respond to RFPs and other sales inquiries. Most importantly, working with Tara was a genuine pleasure. Her professionalism, joyful demeanor, and energy allowed for open dialogue and exchange of ideas while invigorating the staff around her.

Tara is one of the most passionate executives I've ever met; she cares very deeply about developing the proper organizational culture and ensuring that her team is growing into higher qualifications. As an advocate of market-driven organizations, Tara is able to assess internal processes and streamline for efficiency and effectiveness & then translate those internal improvements into external client satisfaction. This client centered approach gives Tara the perspective to create marketing and business strategies that make sense for both clients and the organization. Her business intelligence and commitment to cultivating exceptional market data help arm her teams with the proper tools for growth and performance. As a supervisor, Tara is a phenomenal leader. Her passion is infectious and there is never a doubt that she will go to bat for her team. Tara taps in to personal goals and helps to develop them in any way she can, from exposure to executives, to training and seminars, to one-on-one coaching. Tara is truly a champion of servant leadership that leads to impeccable communication and committed & motivated teams. I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked for Tara at two different organizations and am thankful for her constantly going above and beyond for and the teams.
