      • Responsible for managing the production of prototypes as part of customer’s engine programs. Expressive customers such as Daimler, Cummins and John Deere, via application engineering, counted on my project management skills to have flawless products to test on time and within budget.• From the Raw Material Design, to updating Application Engineering, from Managing Risks to the PPAP submission, I worked in average of 3 projects per quarter every year. Most currently, 9 projects were active.• Performed many cost reductions tasks by adapting current products to new and more efficient equivalent process. In the most current project, the opportunity to eliminate stock removal in certain operation was identified and statistically proved its effectiveness resulting in an annual saving of US$54,000.00.• As Lean Manufacturing project leader, the objective to increase the output of a given production cell was stablished. By using Lean Manufacturing techniques such as Line Balancing, Kanban, One Piece Flow concepts, training operators, the results achieved was: 30% output increase with estimated annual cost reduction of a US$100,000.00• As engineering support to the Project Manager of the project to implement online SPC data collection on the shop, taking over the task of hardware installation and stations start up, in three months, becoming the go to person for the SKIIL stations support during and after project completion.
