As the first Head Coach at the club, I played a key role in putting structures and organisation in place to facilitate growth and development of the club, taking it from a largely social group into a competitive club. The membership base grew significantly, and the club became more prominent in both the local community and across the Victorian rowing scene. Coach of Intermediate 1st crew: MU174x+ (composite with Bairnsdale RC) - Bronze medal at Victorian State Championships, Semi-Finalists at Australian National Championships 2017 Coach of Composite Schoolboy 8+ (Bairnsdale RC & Gippsland Grammar) - Introduced scullers to sweep rowing; no sweep experience to racing at Melbourne Head and Head of the Yarra in 3 months, with limited training in VIII (1 session per week) Junior Coach - Coached regular Junior sessions, working with fellow coaches to deliver sessions under programme set by Director of Rowing Show less
