I worked with Sabrina in 2010 at the German Embassy Washington. She was an intern in the Press and Public Diplomacy Department, where I was positioned at the time. I worked closely with all the interns in our department, because they often had the job of analyzing all US news for the ambassador; and I prepared a separate press analysis every morning. Sabrina was hands down one of the best interns we had. Her daily reports were always spot-on, trenchant, and, despite the early morning pressure, never late. She was especially good at reading below the surface and getting that deeper analysis. Moreover, I was impressed with how she dealt with the diverse group of folks you have to deal with in an embassy press department: diplomats, local consultants, journalists, etc.
