      Yonsei Delegation for Model United Nations, or YDMUN, was founded in 2004 as an independent student organization. It has three main goals: increasing the intelligibility of international organizations; cultivating our capabilities as future international relations experts, and; establishing international networks with fellow foreign students. YDMUN is operated on a yearly basis, and is currently operated by the members of the 16th and 17th generation. Since 2008, YDMUN members have hosted Yonsei Model United Nations, or YMUN for short, for the purpose of organizing grounds for debate regarding international issues. YDMUN is the one and only representative of the Republic of Korea in international MUN conferences that is recognized by the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs. YDMUN annually participates in NMUN, which is held in the United Nations headquarters in New York City, USA. In addition, YDMUN participates in a host of other activities such as United Model United Nations, which is hosted with KIOSS of Korea University and HISS of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.
