Jacob Sponko
As a leader of the PMO and then Head of Operations for the SMB division at Dun & Bradstreet, I had the opportunity to work very closely with Allison during her 5 years at the company. Allison was also a trusted leader of her respective function, acting as the voice of the customer for many product initiatives, while growing to eventually manage the Product team as Director of Product Management. Allison always fought to put the customer first and never sacrificed quality. She expressed genuine passion for the customer, many relied on her for guidance as our SME, and she was a true asset to the team. She was a great partner, extremely dependable, and enhanced both our division and organization as a whole. While Allison will be extremely missed, she has the skillset to lead and make meaningful impact wherever she goes. She understands app development and can effectively translate business and technical requirements to both development teams and stakeholders, does her market research and customer surveys, and understands Agile methodologies to make iterative improvements. She is also very analytical and easy to work with. Allison was a great colleague and friend, and as a result, I give her my highest recommendation.

I had the pleasure of working with Allison for a short time at Dun & Bradstreet in her role as Director of Product Management for Small Business products. Allison welcomed me as a new leader on the tech team. She was an invaluable resource for all my product questions as well as helping me understand all of the various processes at D&B. Allison had an excellent command of the products, even the ones that she wasn't managing. She was relentless in getting hard answers for the team for some extremely technical details. She was also very willing to accommodate the developers on the team with extra details regarding requirements. She was a pleasure to work with and I hope our paths cross again.

Senior Product Manager
-
Jan 2019 - Apr 2021
Responsible for several business credit management applications that generate over $100 million in subscription revenue annually. In 2020 I launched two new products and relaunched a third as an ecommerce offering, as part our new freemium to premium ecommerce stratgey. Online sales for the relaunched product are currently outpacing previous sales of the product over the phone. Implemented in product partner advertisements in three products, with more planned over the coming months. Worked directly with the partners to fulfill the free offer. Spearheaded an effort across multiple business units to modernize a legacy data submission process, the result of which will be a significant increase in customer satisfaction and retention. Write business and technical requirements for new product features and enhancements, create wireframes, implement third party integrations, manage and prioritize the agile backlog board, and partner with sales, marketing, legal, and analytics teams to ensure the products' success. Maintain strong and collaborative relationships with many global stakeholders and perform frequent product demos to showcase all product improvements. Show less
