      Worked with a thesis project for medical studies at the Department of Neuroscience and Biomedical Engineering (Aalto University School of Science and Technology). The project was about utilizing Bayesian reduced-rank regression -method (BRRR) to recognize different neurological patient groups (MCA stroke, mild Traumatic Brain Injury and controls) using only spontaneous rhythmic MEG data from the patients and controls. We were able to recognize mTBI patients from MCA stroke patients with sensitivity of 0.923 and specificity of 0.870. The method was also tried to recognize same subjects when they were doing different tasks (e.g. solving Rubik's cube, receiving flashes/beeps or just keeping eyes open/closed). The method turn out to have 97% accuracy on this type subject recognition. The project was done using R-programming language (on BRRR applications) and MATLAB (on data processing from raw MEG data to spectrum).

      Worked with my Bachelor's thesis project about "Reference electrode problem and Global Mean Field Power on EEG", at the Department of Neuroscience and Biomedical Engineering (Aalto University School of Science and Technology). On the thesis I simulated how different sources in the brain are expressing themselves as potential distributions on the scalp. The head was studied as a three layer ball. With the simulation I was able to study how mean field power models present brain activity globally and also locally. All programming related to the project was done using MATLAB.
