I am honored to provide this recommendation on behalf of Anita Bryant. We met in 2020, one day after Atlanta went into lockdown during an ATD Atlanta Community of Practice, Career Compass Webinar. As there were many guest speakers, I was not sure how many members would be able to engage. Anita was one of the most outstanding and engaging participants. Her questions regarding career development specifically related to the field of instructional design were right on point. She stood out as a transparent persona who highlighted many concerns that other talent developers also inquired about. However, there is so much more. She is also unique in her… Strong capacity for empathy to build meaningful learning courses Curiosity to develop a huge toolbox and strengthen program delivery for learners or users Creative problem-solving to use and demonstrate UX tools: persona, affinity map, etc. It is such a joy to meet a learning developer with a bottomless capacity of giving and growing. Reach out to Anita to learn about her ideas on building useful programs or products for elderly and more. I am grateful to have met this humble human being. Thank you!

I am extremely impressed by Anita’s willingness to take on challenges and to see them through. She recently undertook a project that not only involved her learning new subject matter but new computer software as well. As her mentor on the subject matter, I appreciated, deeply, her resilience, fortitude, and persistence, as the subject matter is not as simple as it looks. Wanting to share this subject matter with others, Anita found a software program, completely new to her, and designed an interactive training module that spoke to the material beautifully, incorporating a number of visuals, audios, and activities that required the reader to pay careful attention. To take on two new things, both of them complex, at the same time, requires a certain amount of fearlessness. To do them well, as Anita did, requires creativity and innovation. I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this project with Anita and respect, very much, her efforts at producing a result that not only met the needs of her audience but did so in ways that were remarkable and engaging.
