Bio
Cathy Eshleman Jenkins
For more than two years, I have worked closely with Katie to steward and cultivate corporate volunteer groups at Win. As Director of Volunteer Services, Katie has consistently brought to the table a tireless work ethic, a commitment to finishing a project once started, and a knack for keeping her sense of humor in challenging situations. During her first year, she transformed a waning volunteer services program into a robust, thriving, comprehensive initiative, which provided opportunities for individuals, and non-profit and corporate groups, to engage in a meaningful and consistent way with our client base. Katie’s leadership and creative thinking has ensured that volunteer activities do not become
Jaclyn D.
Katie is a true leader in her field. We worked together when I chaired the internal Win Volunteer group, the Associate’s Committee. Katie was our main point of contact and our go-to for every initiative we undertook. Our team was tasked with providing in-kind donations and fun, interactive events for children living in Win’s shelter. Katie’s eye for detail and passion for the work helped us grow our 10 person team to more than 50+ volunteers. With her help, we were able to become one of the largest holiday drive donors, and for fiscal 2018 we're poised to become one of the most meaningful contributors to their backpack collections. Additionally, we were also able to double the number of events we produced each year. Katie has an ability to manage her team effectively to drive big results and tackle big logistical challenges. Her calm demeanor allows her to quickly navigate hurdles as they arise and scale solutions and resources so they drive the most possible impact. She would be an asset to any team she joins.
