I worked for the Capital School District for 9 years in the health and pe world. I started out teaching elementary physical education at five of the seven elementary schools, traveling daily. I was then moved to the middle schools and taught 7th and 8th grade health and physical education. At Central Middle School I also coached field hockey, girls basketball, and boys/girls track and field. While teaching I was also asked to be the Vice President of Recreation for the DAHPERD Association. I did a three year stent. After 4 years at Central Middle, I then decided to transfer to Dover High School, where I continued to teach health and physical education. I taught everything from weight training, to general fitness, individual and dual sports, and team sports. While there I continued to coach field hockey, girls basketball, softball, girls lacrosse, and tennis (just one season). Show less
