  Key Accomplishment: • Determined that recirculating flotation tails water in the flotation plant will reduce annual spending on flotation reagents by $1.3 million. • Collaborated with the health and safety department to standardize how a lab-scale chemical spill is to be handled, and presented the plan to the process team, superintendent, and manager. • Developed a dynamic model to determine the average retention time of a particle throughout each section of the flotation plant. • Monitored the gauges and scales of various process units and generated SAP maintenance requests for those that needed repair to maximize the efficiency of the units.
