Oversaw the four year drive to become a "Green Community" which was granted in 2014, as well as the "Solarize Massachusetts" process and he creation of a solar map for the town. As a result over 7% of the private homes are solar powered. The project for a large scale solar array on the town capped landfill is underway which will power 100% of the Town owned buildings.
