I had the pleasure to work with Shelly on the Community Help & Education team at Meta. Shelly was always smiling and ready to support anyone to drive impact. Beyond that, Shelly always advocated for her team by highlighting their work to executive leadership. One of recent efforts where Shelly led her team to success was a Community Chats launch in both the Facebook and Messenger Help Centers. In this top company investment, people can connect with their communities in real time around the topics they care about on both Facebook and Messenger via text, audio and video. To support this milestone, the Community Help and Education team supported 26 launches for Community Chats and Audio Channels, creating 11 new articles and 2 index pages, and updating 14 existing articles in the consumer help center. Shelly also proactively shared insights on how to avoid burnout and prioritize mental health during a pandemic, which was so needed as we all began to work and live in the same space.
