  Headquartered in Hong Kong since 1993, Dragon Fertiliser comprises an active group of companies which provide marketing and distribution for supplies of fertilizers from key export countries to the expanding Asian markets.Dragon relies on its logistics expertise coupled with the competitive advantage of deep local knowledge, to service the fertilizer requirements of each of its market.In the late 1990s, Dragon pioneered the use of 60,000 mt panamax vessels to bring bulk potash from Russia and Belarus to its potash terminal in Southern China, a hub for marketing and distribution potash to small ports throughout regional markets.Over recent years Dragon Fertiliser has diversified its fertilizer supply and expanded its regional marketing and distribution in local markets.Dragon Fertiliser returns to its Central and East European roots with its recently opened Dragon Fertilser Geneva Branch, which will develop regional fertilizer marketing and distribution following the same model that has proven successful in its Asian markets

  I founded Dragon Fertiliser in Hong Kong as a regional fertilizer centre skilled in local logistics and finance structures. Initially Dragon marketed Ukrainian urea to provincial buyers in China under a marketing agreement for Ukrainian fertilizer exports. From 1996 Dragon marketed Belarus and Russian potash under long-term contract with International Potash Company, Moscow; established a strategic potash terminal at Chiwan Port, in south China to provide logistics support; and continues to develop its potash marketing in Southeast Asia.Having lost supply of Russia potash at the end of 2011 following consolidation in the Russian industry, Dragon entered a marketing and distribution agreement with Canpotex Ltd for the supply of Canadian potash to Bangladesh, and subsequently to Vietnam.

  Established Fintec UK Ltd in London which was appointed worldwide marketing agent for 2.5 million TPA nitrogen fertilizers from Ukraine in 1993 through 1996 under a special export license, providing the full chartering, logistics and trade finance this required. Subsequently Fintec sourced potash fertilizer from Russia from 1997 through 2011.
