I worked closely with Jan during our time together in MSI, supporting him with operations in Europe. Jan stood out from among all in the business development team, he was so comfortable in coveralls, helmet and boots always visiting the project sites and meeting clients face to face providing a personal touch. Its no surprise he constantly won repeat projects with huge organisations, he brought in the biggest projects to MSI. Me and my guys in the engineering and operations team were always excited to work on his projects and knew that he will be there on the ground to understand the issues we faced and work together with us to find the best solutions for the clients. It helps that Jan has a strong technical background, that made it easier for him to understand the engineers and me better. Most importantly we have strong trust and faith in Jan and knew that he was always there for us, he had our backs. I worked with Jan on a daily basis during my time with MSI Korea, after he closed the largest project in the companies history (TCO Tengiz), that consisted pipe marking and asset identification of close to 100 modules being constructed at the DSME / DSHI yards in the Busan area of South Korea. Jan was very conscientious in following up with the client and ensured that the operations team headed by myself had a clear understanding of the client requirements and expectations. Jan is highly motivated and enthusiastic about his role when developing new leads / relationships and ensuring that existing client relationships are maintained to encourage repeat business.
