Bio
Michael McCoy
Bonnie is a stragegist and encourager who seeks as her primary goal to improve infant and maternal outcomes in the State of Oklahoma. Through her leadership in the Oklahoma Healthy Mother's Healthy Babies and well as the grassroots Oklahoma Infant Alliance, she provides resources, trains in advocacy, and plans events to support the work of these two organizations as well as her parent organization, the Oklhoma Institute for Child Advocacy.
Michael McCoy
Ms. Bellah is an organized, efficient visionary who has worked tirelessly in her capacity as Cordinator of the State Coordinator of Oklahoma Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies (OKHMHB) for women's and newborns health issues, and has done some ground-breaking data collection and research that will continue to move our state forward in combating the dilemma of poor perinatal outcomes that have plagued our state for many years. Her vision in building this coalition has brought a great many professionals from varied disciplines into a cohesive unifying force that will have the weighted, adequate voice to speak to issues relating to awareness, access and advocacy for women and infants in our state. With her assistance, a plan is well underway to promote OKHMHB as a clearing house of information for providers as well as consumers to bring all women's and newborns resources into a web-based database, allowing each to find needed rsource connections in their particular demongraphic and multidiscipanary need. Bonnie continues to monitor and inform the coalition of changes from the legislative, departmental and other policy arenas that effect the mission of the OKHMHB. I am proud to be associated with this woman whose voice speaks so clearly for those who cannot speak for themselves.
