Patrick provides a great PCB design and manufacturing service. Its quick, very reasonably priced, good quality and he is happy to help with support if he can. Highly recommend anyone using this service!

Patrick Brinson has provided excellent electronic design and PCB build input, as a highly professional and capable electronics engineer. He has evaluated, critiqued and improved our initial engineering approach whilst maintaining the vision and goals of yu-scan. An integral member of the team, with a keen eye for detail, always meeting or exceeding deadlines.

Open Bionics: The Open Hand Project is one of the most exciting projects that I have had the privilege to work on, opening up smart prosthetics to the masses. My role was to design the control board that could control 5 motors, with current sensing to allow the grip to be varied. The USB interface allows accessories to be added to the controller for added control and other aids for the user. Electronic design for Dawn Robotics has been to enhance the Raspberry Pi in such a way to make it much more accessible to those starting with robotics. I have had the pleasure to design a PCB required to run a small mobile robot, the key design task here was the power management and embedded system that would work with the existing hardware. During my time with the Officer Training Corps, I have had many opportunities, that others would never get the chance too. From training through the winter in Brecon, to being on exercise in the mid-summer of Cyprus. Being part of the OTC and having various command positions, has enabled myself to develop leadership in a unique way. Having to make snap decisions under pressure, making a well set out plan, and giving Platoon orders. I have also been given opportunity to go on multiple adventure training exercises; Horse Riding, Kayaking, Rafting, Climbing and more.
