1. Designed Single Line Diagram of Vehicle Maintenance Bridge Inspection and CAR612 Train using ETAP 19.0 software adapted to the general arrangement of VMBI and CAR612. 2. Performed power flow analysis, cable sizing, and MCB sizing on the VMBI and CAR612 electrical system. Analysis results can solve problems such as overvoltage, undervoltage, and overload in the system. Furthermore, the load voltage does not drop more than 2% of the nominal voltage. 3. Calculated the protection and coordination of the VMBI electrical system. The calculation accuracy reaches 100% where all fault location scenarios on the 5 busbars show that the Circuit Breaker trip sequence is correct, starting form downstream to upstream protection which is shown via Time Current Characteristic Curve. 4. Simulated Transient Stability on the VMBI electrical system with load shedding case studies (motor load with 80% of the total load). The simulation results show the system can reach a new Steady State condition with a difference of 2% from the nominal frequency. 5. Performed Motor Acceleration Analysis on the VMBI Electrical system with direct starter method and using Variable Frequency Drive. Show less
