When I think of Hemakshi, the phrase that comes to my mind is 'ridiculously hardworking.' I have had the pleasure of coaching Hemakshi for a year, during her Teach For India fellowship. I was extremely impressed by Hemakshi's planning and organization skills. She always set a high bar of excellence for herself in the classroom. She has very high standards of integrity and in our initial interactions, it came through very strongly. Hemakshi would be a great addition to anyone's team!

I worked with Hemakshi on several extracurricular assignments at the Harvard Kenendy School. On each occasion, Hemakshi's passion for her tasks, persistence with the process and commitment to the outcomes shone through. When organizing the India Conference at Harvard, I was struck by Hemakshi's dogged pursuit of a high profile speaker and confidence taht she would succeed even when the rest of us had given up on him. Needless to say, she pulled it off. Hemakshi is also an excellent team player who never flinched from taking initiative and going the extra mile. Even where I disagreed with her, Hemakshi made it possible for me to respect her strong conviction about her beliefs and willingness to stand by them.
