thelab is a New York based ad agency. We have offices all over the world including NY, OH, LA, and London, and we collaborate with a wide variety of clients to create stunning images, copy, and content to affectively tell the stories of their brands and products. Here I help manage some of the most talented photographers and retouchers to deliver the highest quality visual content. We also do a pretty good job of having fun while we're doing it! thelab is a New York based ad agency. Columbus State offers me to opportunity to assist a socially and economically diverse community of students in preparing for professional careers. Though I am responsible to translate abstract, technical information into tangible applications, I also focus on highlighting practical life and professional skills. Academic knowledge can only go so far, therefore I try to strike a balance between teacher and mentor in order to pass on more than what the textbook has to offer. Eclipse Corp exists to ignite and empower brands while specializing in visual collateral creation. What we do is yet another form of storytelling and innovative problem solving. Although rapidly growing we are a small company, therefor many of us, including myself, wear many hats. My role consists of two main priorities. I am an expert in image creation, manipulation, and management. I create content for our clients with the highest bar of quality. The other process I oversee is the tactical planning of our clients projects including managing the resources and talent we have, acquiring the talent we need for any given project, seeing obstacles before they happen, and planning for those challenges appropriately.• Managed a $50K budget to set up a brand new eComm studio from scratch and only utilized 80% of that budget without sacrificing quality.• Introduced two new software solutions that improved and quickened our workflow to meet tight deadlines with impeccable organization.• Investigated current client pain points and proposed manageable solutions which strengthened client relationship and lead to an additional $2.5M contract for 2016. Eyes Wide Open International is a grassroots non-profit based out of Columbus, OH with the mission of serving orphans and widows globally and the majority of their efforts focussed on orphans in Haiti. I joined this team shortly after the 2010 earthquake in Haiti when the organization needed to supercharge their earning potential in order to support crisis relief efforts. I rebranded their identity and created a new marketing strategy that informed all future visual collateral including web based and print material. • Created effective messaging using language, graphics and marketing collateral. • Boosted website traffic by 70% by integrating social media into presentations and marketing content. • Developed partnerships with local businesses to secure third party promotions. • Reviewed and edited mass email and newsletter communications to guarantee high content quality. • Gathered informative research and data about a specific group of orphans on location in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. • Photographed needed images on location in Haiti and in the US for use on web site and as graphic elements.
