I provided EVOC training throughout the entire state of Oregon, and Washington. My personal mission was to train and teach our law enforcement officers the advanced skills and habits in order to protect their lives and the general public. This was an extremely rewarding career, and a great opportunity to advance the skill-set of our law enforcement professionals. Emergency Vehicle Operation Courses are designed to improve the perishable skills of the complacent driver through creating situation-awareness, advanced techniques, understanding your limitations, and practicing in a high stress environment.

Becoming an entrepreneur as a self-employed mortgage consultant was both challenging and rewarding. I served in the greater Dallas community, and provided home loans, commercial loans, and refinances. My focus was to consult with clients, and provide information regarding mortgage options, contract analysis, and real estate agreements. I provided information regarding home ownership to new and first-time home buyers. I also explained in detail about real estate transactions, appraisals, and title reports for each client. I worked directly with loan processors, underwriters, title companies, and credit reporting agencies.

I provided sales consultations for security, life safety, communications, and related security equipment for life protection. A lot of my time was spent providing training for personnel and business establishments in the proper use of security equipment. I compiled lists of prospective customers, businesses, industry ads, trade shows, internet web sites, and other sources for sales leads. I would travel through assigned territories on a regular basis for sales leads, and in-home customer consultations.

I served the Marion County community as a Reserve Deputy, and worked in the Court Services Division at the Marion County Courthouse. My duties included courtroom security and inmate-transportation. I conducted search warrants, made arrests, detained suspects, patrolled streets, provided crime scene security, court room security, transported prisoners, and issued traffic/criminal citations.
