Responsibilities: Synthesis and Characterization of Polymer Nanoparticles: - Utilize established protocols to synthesize polymer nanoparticles. - Employ various characterization techniques, including spectroscopy, microscopy, and particle size analysis, to assess the properties of the nanoparticles. - Document experimental procedures and analyze resulting data. Mammalian Cell Culture: - Cultivate mammalian cell lines using sterile techniques and appropriate growth media. - Maintain the health and viability of cell cultures, monitoring growth and conducting routine quality control checks. - Prepare experimental setups for subsequent nanoparticle uptake studies. Nanoparticle Uptake Experiments on Macrophages: - Conduct in vitro experiments to evaluate the uptake of polymer nanoparticles by macrophages. - Optimize experimental conditions to enhance the efficiency of nanoparticle uptake. - Perform in vivo studies using animal models to investigate nanoparticle behavior and uptake.
