I am a Health Education teacher for students in grades 7, 8, and 10-12. I work independently to design and implement health curricula to implement in the daily operations of my classrooms, passionately create and implement innovative skills based learning opportunities, and grade and provide feedback through school reporting systems. I am fluent in the use of google suite and easily transitioned to remote learning and all of the technical aspects to come along with remote education during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, I assess and overcome daily technical difficulties, organize and implement school wide events and club activities, attend professional development conferences, trainings, and workshops, and attend faculty and team meetings. I am a health educator for grades 5, 7, 8, and a mixture of 9-12. I am required to plan and implement health curricula for each different grade level, as well as assess and keep track of student learning. I use multiple different forms of technology throughout the year such as Microsoft office, Elmo projector, SMART technology, Mac and PC computers and laptops, iPods, and iPads. I have obtained many skills throughout my school and teaching careers such as: communication skills, computer and typing skills, advanced technology skills, problem solving skills, team building skills, planning and organizational skills, and time management skills, to name a few. I am also a very fast learner, as technology and teaching methods are constantly changing and I must have the ability to adapt to change quickly. I also have the ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure, and present to students and/or colleagues. Furthermore, I have been the girls varsity soccer coach for the last two years, and the girls modified softball coach for the last four years. I was required to organized and run shifts, manage up to 15 employees at a time ranging from the ages of 15-50, count and deposit money, manage food safety and food quality, delegated secondary jobs to employees, and maintain crew morale.
