Registrations went from 6 to 300 in 4 years becoming the most profitable Conservatory Program. • Implemented new web registration system for both the Day Camp and the Examinations. Results: lower costs, higher customer satisfaction, better efficiency and transparency. • Repositioned the Conservatory Day Camp to make it the best Performing arts camp in Montreal. President and Owner
-
1996 - 2006
Artemusik Inc. was a company which was managing day camps, a dance school and birthday parties for kids. Creating added value by grabbing business opportunities and creating spin-offs. • Seized an opportunity in 1996 of creating a day camp in music and performing arts at McGill. Met with the Director and explained my concept which he accepted. This lead to the establishment of the McGill Conservatory Day Camp which was turnkey managed by Artemusik Inc. • Noticed McGill’s reputation and maximized the camp’s potential by creating a logo, posters, flyers and a web site. As a result, the number of registrations went from 14 to more than 500 in 4 years with profits covering the Conservatory’s annual deficit. • Anticipated the demographic hollow by creating new specialized programs for targetted customers (Garage Band Camp + Tour Camp, Video Camp, Radio Camp, Sound Recording Camp, etc.) with the result of constantly more registrations in a declining market. • Identified the high potentials within the Camp team and co-founded spin-offs of Camp song CDs, Dance School and Birthday Parties. • Presented my vision of the Conservatory during an interview in front of a panel of 10 people. Became the youngest director of the Conservatory and sold Artemusik Inc. to McGill University (2006). • Today the McGill Conservatory Day Camp has more than 1000 4-18 years old registrations annually in 30 different programs, offering in 7 weeks more than 45 end-of-camp shows for parents and friends and remains, by far, the most profitable program of the McGill Conservatory.
