Well, where should I begin, we’ve got such a good track record with Nina along the past 10+ years. I guess it all started when we kicked off Helsinki’s meatpacking district together where Nina managed to pull great crowds to killer events to a back then unknown location. During those years we also founded Streat Helsinki that became not only an international benchmark and prime time news stuff but also attracted tens of thousends people to the streets of Helsinki. When it comes to events I have especially good memories from Singalong Saturdays that enlived my restaurant during the slow season. Nina’s talent is not limited to events only, she is a real wizard when it comes to inspiring writing that reflects the brand in question. As an entrepreneur myself too, I’m very thankful for Nina’s input in various materials such as our inspirational 100 page team hand book and lately putting together a winning pitch for my soon to open restaurant in Helsinki’s legenday Hakaniemi market hall. Nina communicates extremely well in both English and Finnish, she is an easy to deal with personality that I highly recommend to anyone that wants to stand out.

Planning, curating and producing the programme for Puistokatu 4, the Space for Science and Hope. Puistokatu 4 is a mindset as well as a physical space - a beautiful villa from the 1800s in Kaivopuisto, Helsinki. We champion the rapid cultural change needed in our ongoing ecological crises. We provide a platform for research and community, and a space for encounters and events. In addition to the programme, I'm in charge of hub operations, user and visitor experience, whilst also making time to work on partnerships, strategy and marketing. With a background in activism and grassroots organizing as well as teaching yoga, my touchpoint and personal interest lies in the intersection of environmental justice and somatics; community wellbeing, or what I call Planetary Selfcare. The idea that caring for and healing ourselves and our communities is the way to heal and care for the planet. And vice versa. Show less

Streat Helsinki is all about street food. It's an idea of what it should and could be. It's a concept with a mission of praising and pioneering the countless opportunities and potential of street food in Helsinki, as well as spreading the word abroad through our partners. Streat Helsinki took the streets by storm three years in a row, acting as an enabler and force for good. In three years time we managed to accomplish all we wanted to, and are leaving the street food scene in the good hands of street food vendors, co-ops and entrepreneurs. Show less

Teurastamo was built in 1933 and served as an abattoir until 1992, after which it's been used mostly as industrial storage space. In 2013 I was hired to bring life back to the budding cultural hub. In the space of two and a half years Teurastamo has seen just shy of 250 different events and projects ranging from music to sports and food to art. As producer I was in charge of both renting out the courtyard for various events, as well as producing events based on unique, original concepts of my own. These include Helsinki Night Market (2013-2015, attended by 32 000 people in 2015), and World Bites World Food Festival (2013-2014, attended by about 15 000 people in 2014), as well as the Street Food Thursday series, welcoming over 50 000 people over the space of two years.
