I was the primary resource for the team to explain systems and troubleshoot issues they had, since I have years of experience with our systems. We moved a large amount of infrastructure: 3 kafka clusters, a big data cluster, 4 scylladb clusters, two large web pixel deployments, and more, and completed the project successfully on time in Feb 2020. After the cloud migration project was completed, I and my team merged with several other teams to begin work on a new Java application for a new product initiative, while still supporting and maintaining our recently moved infrastructure. I am one of the most senior engineers, influencing decisions on architecture and design, doing detailed code reviews with junior engineers, writing code and improving various parts of the project.
