This was a casual role with me coming in on an ad-hoc basis as required to help Prof Peter Rayner with day to day university administration. Responsibilities: • Assist a blind professor, Professor Peter Rayner, with administration tasks • Develop solutions for tasks that could be implemented by the professor when I, or any sighted assistant, was not present Achievements: • I wrote a small piece of software that enabled Professor Rayner to be able to interact with data types that he had not previously been able to use. This software was later included as part of a larger open source package.
