3D Topology Optimization using Convolutional Neural Network (https://arxiv.org/abs/1808.07440)1. Spear-headed the 3D CNN architecture design and implementation on ‘PyTorch’ to develop an alternative, more efficient approach for 3D topology optimization. 2. Trained the network incorporating combinations of density distribution, gradient of density, and loads & boundary conditions of the structure as the input and compared the network output against the benchmark output from the open-source FEA solver ‘TopOpt’.3. Accomplished a 40% time reduction with a binary accuracy of 96.2% over using the solver end-to-end by interpolating the final output using our CNN from an intermediate iteration obtained from the solver.4. Fabricated custom data and also investigated effect of training the network on data obtained from the conventional solvers at different stages of the optimization process.

1. Employed statistical machine learning and data analytics tools to facilitate one of the largest energy suppliers in United Kingdom to comprehend customer expectations, identify & address grievances and improve overall customer satisfaction. 2. Led the project on identifying the most influential parameters driving numerous service journeys by developing models utilizing logistic regression and predicted the effect of said parameters on customer satisfaction. 3. Performed a deep dive into one of the under-performing journeys and recommended changes to effect potential savings of the order of USD 2mn in operational inefficiencies and improve customer satisfaction by 16%. 4. Awarded “Promising Newcomer” from over 200 new recruits, based on distinguished analytical ability and adeptness of leading a project resulting in tangible, actionable outcomes.
