We did projects large and small together, and you get to know someone really well when you're in the trenches with them five days a week. So I can say with certainty that Chris is one of the top talents I've ever worked with in my career and is the very definition of a real professional: even-tempered, knows his stuff, and while he calls himself a "project manager" he's far more than that -- he's a good leader who knows how to both massage personalities and schedules to help everyone reach the goal line. When you're a Product guy in a big organization, like I was, you need a short-list of go-to people to help you get it done. Chris was always at the top of my list -- to the point that when I was offered the chance to do a podcast called "Stuff to Make You Smarter", there was only one person I went to as co-host: Chris. We did two dozen episodes together over a 5 month period, all the while performing our regular day jobs as well. We had a great run together at HSW and I'll always look back at our time together -- especially the podcast -- as some of the most productive and fulfilling of my career.
